As the proud creator of a WordPress website on a subdomain, I wanted to replace the old site by the new one and had to move my website from subdomain to domain. I had my doubts whether I would succeed. Hence I first, I was adviced to make a redirect. Unfortunately, an error message appeared on my website with a search linked to it and that was not the intention. Luckily there were the navigation buttons and the title and description. But, all in all, not pretty. Now comes the beautiful thing. Through Facebook, I was offered help from Marca van den Broek. She referred me back to Petra Blankwaard because she had helped her once good and fast. Great to get help from two total strangers. I gathered courage and started with the manual provided by Indigo Webstudio. I read it 3x and then I gradually started working. The problem is that my hosting company shows other screens as the examples of the description and I have to be honest when I say that some things I do not really understand. So it went wrong and my website was no longer visible. Also my WordPress admin I could not conjure. In desperation, I sent an email to Indigo and within fifteen minutes already received a response with assistance. After some back and forth mailing, my website was the next day again on the web and I could log in on my Worpress admin. I am still blown away by the aid, an invoice Petra did not send me, she asked me just to make a small donation to the Food Bank, which of course I did immediately. Via Social Media I met two wonderful people, whom I thank. I’d like to share this with you.
